How should the heat sink tube be used?

The heat shrinkable tube is very simple to use, generally it can be set up and heated. For example, when we use it normally, we can use the hot air of a hair dryer to heat it, but we should pay attention to the heat shrinkable tube of the sleeve not to be too thick. There is no need to put adhesive tape inside. But be careful not to let the wire end pierce the heat-shrinkable tube. If necessary, set another layer.

Sometimes someone uses a lighter to heat, light the lighter, put the heat-shrinkable tube into the flame, and shake the flame back and forth along the axial direction of the tube for 2 or 3 seconds. If the heat-shrinkable tube is thicker and longer, the baking time should be extended as appropriate. In fact, there is no skill at all, you will know once you try it, as long as you don't burn it.

These are our usual practices for simple wiring. If it is on a special device, it must be done according to the standard procedure.

Such as distribution cabinet wiring. Usually, the exposed busbars in the power distribution cabinet need to be installed with heat shrinkable tubes, which are usually installed by the manufacturer, while the equipment components in the power distribution cabinet are installed at the same time, and the heat shrinkable tubes are placed on the busbars in advance. After the screws are tightened, lay the heat-shrinkable tube flat and place it in an appropriate position, and use a hot air heater to heat-shrink the heat-shrinkable tube on the busbar.

If it is a single-layer heat-shrinkable tube, it is generally required to reserve a shrinkage rate of more than 10%; for waterproof heat-shrinkable tubes with glue, it is generally required to reserve a shrinkage rate of 30%. Example: For a cable with an outer diameter of 100mm, it is recommended to choose a waterproof heat-shrinkable tube with glue and an inner diameter of 130mm or more.
